In every bottle of Hej Kaj, there’s a story waiting to be discovered. Every element of the label carries meaning, honoring Kaj’s life and the spirit in which this brand was born. What you see on the bottle is more than design—it’s a reflection of legacy, love, and craftsmanship. Quite simply, it is my way of sharing Kaj’s story.

A Signature That Soars

Kaj’s handwritten signature became the foundation for the Hej Kaj logo. It was his mark of authenticity, and now it lives on as the mark of the brand. Alongside his, my signature also appears on the label—a symbol of our forever partnership and love that transcends time.

Rings Of Silver And Gold

Kaj had two rings created that he deeply cherished—one in silver, one in gold. Each was engraved with Viking runes: Thor, light for all, and Odin, father of all. Forged with intention, these rings carried special meaning for him, symbols of strength, light, and legacy.

On the Hej Kaj label, you’ll find two ring elements—one silver, one gold—echoing those very symbols and the values Kaj carried with him.

The brand’s colors—silver and gold—are a tribute to these rings, infusing every bottle with rich meaning.

This is Thor, Kaj’s silver ring. Odin, his gold ring, is now a lost treasure. I know Kaj has it with him in Valhalla.

Each bottle of Hej Kaj features one of my favorite photos. Taken by his father, the image captures Kaj during his years as a pilot and flight instructor, living as he always did: fearless, free, and on his own terms.

More than a photograph, it opens a window into his world, inviting others to glimpse the adventures he embraced and the spirit of possibility that defined him.
